New Information Leaflet on Gas and Electricity Supply Produced by Consumer Focus Scotland

Consumer Focus Scotland has published two new information leaflets on domestic energy supply for tenants and landlords. The leaflets were developed after Consumer Focus Extra Help Unit ,which supports vulnerable consumers across Great Britain with their energy complaints, found that they were dealing with an increasing number of problems with energy supply. The Extra Help Unit helped to develop the leaflets in order to support tenants and landlords in Scotland with this issue.

Sort your supply: gas and electricity supply advice for tenants.

Sort your supply: gas and electricity supply advice for tenants, covers everything a new tenant needs to think about when they begin their tenancy. It includes finding out who their supplier is, taking meter readings and checking that their gas and electricity is connected and working properly.

Smooth supply: gas and electricity supply advice for landlords.

Smooth supply: gas and electricity supply advice for landlords, gives relevant advice to those who are renting out a property, covering issues such as ensuring they have the right information at the start and end of a tenancy and that everything is in order with the gas and electricity supplies in their property.

Both leaflets are available to download, click on the links below.
