About Us

Our mission statement is:
 
"TIS is the leading organisation promoting and inspiring innovative tenant participation practice in Scotland. TIS practitioners provide high quality independent advice, training and support services empowering tenants, communities and landlords to develop good practice and influence change throughout Scotland."

We are unique as we are managed by an Executive Council of tenants' representatives elected from our membership. We are located in the centre of Glasgow with project offices in East Lothian, East Ayrshire, North and South Lanarkshire.

Meet Our Team.

Meet Our Executive council

Our Executive Council (EC) are made up of represenatives from our membership from across Scotland. Elections are held every year at the AGM and and ordinary member can nominate an individual to sit on the EC. The EC meet eight times a year and manage the running of the organisation and it's activities.

Currently our EC is made up of the following members:
